Smelly Kelley
The signature scent of my home is Japanese Quince by Seda France. I shall be loyal to it forever, and once you get a sniff of it you will be too. But often I like to have smaller candles burning in other rooms (read bathroom and bedroom) - and while rummaging through the sidewalk sale at Hello Bluebird a few months ago I found the perfect complementing scents from Nouvelle for my one and only Seda France. So I bought a few a headed home to test them out. And then.. I fell in love! They are not only pretty and compact (just like my apartment) but pack major scented punch, that is exactly the inviting and clean aroma I want wafting around my little abode. (Oh, and of course they are eco-chic!) Everyone who comes over compliments their smell and I found myself going back for more. And more! Today, I scooped up the last three at Hello Bluebird, but am on a mission to find more. They come in all shapes and sizes for your burning enjoyment, but I prefer the small tins (great as gifts as well as easy to travel with). Today I have the Tuscan Current tin opened on my desk and it's already filling my office with it's fantastic scent!

Tune in Tuesday
I am never on time, espicially not to a concert. Typically I roll in frantically as the first few notes of the opening song ignite the crowd and I stumble and shove my way to seat, praying that I'm not about to miss my favorite song.
However, my past concert experience was refreshingly the opposite of the above scene. We arrived not only on time, but early! Relaxed with some whiskey while we lounged in our private seating area waiting for the opening act (which I never ever have any expectation for - which is typically why I don't mind being late). But then I heard her voice..and everything changed. I have never been so thankful to be early to a show in my life. May I introduce Nicole Atkins. She's just the lady we've been looking for. Her velvety, raw version of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" is now on repeat.

Goodwill Toward Man
I always identify the kick off of fall to coincide with the Goodwill Runway Show. It's Berks County's very own Fashion's Night Out, but for an even better cause. All my lovely lady friends, after spending the summer on-the-go and in the sunshine, doll themselves up and get together for this second hand chic evening. It's like our very own back to school night, but so much cooler (did I ever mention how cool I think getting older is?). Anyway, without a word we all gather for the evening surrounded by fashion, charity and fall - compliments of sponsor Berks County Living.

Tune in Tuesday
We all know I love Willie (and might be cooking up a super fun side project) and now I love Phosphorescent doing their own take Willie wonders: To Willie..dare I say, as well (read: better) than him? In any case, I love having a double dose of classic country tunes by two talented artists, which results in twice as much listening love. Great article about the album here. Enjoy this on your rainy Tuesday.
