weekend wonders

this weekend post is really just a post about saturday. libby totally rocked out and won her division at the on the rocks race at french creek (she was also the first woman to cross the finish line in general, but refuses to make a big deal of it - if i ever cross the finish line at a mountain biking race i will make it the biggest deal EVER. just saying). we had a super fun day hanging out with the JB///Stoudt's team and cheering them on. still learning the ropes of a bike race, but i'm into it!

and then, to an eagerly awaited saturday night soiree!

what an incredible evening put on by the other farm brewing company. we enjoyed front row seats during an intimate evening of beer, cheese and dynamic duets pairings. everything was spot on and i can not wait until there is another match point event to enjoy! nice works dudes.

weekend wonders

whew. what a weekend. this weather was  a m a z i n g  and just what the doctor ordered. i was outside for as many hours as possible soaking it all in and trying new things, starting to feel like my old self again (or maybe that's the twelve miles talking). but there were quiet moments too, like crawling into bed early on friday night and spontaneously enjoying a visit and homemade kahlua cup of joe with my bestie on sunday, that were the perfect slow compliment to my over the top outdoorsy weekend. bless up.

- friday night bake session for saturday's junk in the trunk fat-ass.

- lvrg roller derby days with the pacers - those girls are fierce and totally inspiring!

- gorgeous reservoir at rustic i never knew existed.

- dudes being dudes at the roller derby; cheap beers and venison steaks in the parking lot.
yes, my friends are rad.

- I WENT MOUNTAIN BIKING AND IT WAS AMAZING.
in case you can't tell, i'm SUPER excited and super proud. 

- delicious home cooked dinner with the girls over at robin's and her totally cool cat zander checking out the birthday flowers.

Be still my heart! How perfect are these fresh cut pretties?! Cut from the garden and delivered to my door this afternoon to surprise a special leading lady this evening in her debut performance in Spring Awakening. The Rustic Bunch has got it going on and has gone straight to my heart with their happy, loving flower bunches.
