weekend wonders

holy smokes (as glen would say) what a weekend. it was packed full of the good stuff and i left feeling thankful and full. hope you had a ball in the fine, fine weather doing what you love! here's a peep at what i had time to document. 

- caught sunset friday night during my run at nolde. visited my alama mater to chat about bloom where you are - so fun! hit the trail with my old school dudes.

- apres trail run tacos from el puente (appetizer) followed by homemade popovers and coffee in the sunshine; heaven. and lots of live music from the young brothers of course.

- got my butt on both bikes this weekend too - hallelujah!

so, you know by now that i run. but did you know i was on the front page of the reading eagle lifestyle section today? neither did i until my mom texted me. super flattered and honored to share the spotlight with caroline hill; pagoda pacer, fitness berks editor and friend.

i'm a little light on the pics from this weekend, but don't worry, it was good one! lots of time outside freezing running and lots of time inside with friends eating laughing.

- oh hello, jalapeno sausage pizza for sunday brunch at say cheese! i can't get enough of you.

- snowy sunday solo run at nolde.

- seriously, peel the chickpeas. it might be the most annoying task EVER, but your hummus has never been smoother. promise. smitten kitchen was totally right.

necessary gluttony: dutch platter, turkey, carrot soup starter, pumpkin pie and coffee with whip cream.

going through the family jewels apres thanksgiving. two new vintage pieces from nanny to add to my daily uniform.

whew, what a whirlwind! colds, birthday, babies have been on the forefront and got most of my time last week. but here's a peek at my wonderful weekend at home, you know, just doing what i do. the best part? sunday was super sunny and my ipod played the best tunes and the "danger do not enter" trails at nolde were super fun. shhhh. hope you got your happy on this weekend too!

the annual pacer bonfire was a blast! and i'm so glad i finally got to go. 

plus phoebe spoiled me with some sample treats on saturday - vegan pumpkin pie (to die for!) and kale and sundried tomato hummus (i could eat it with a spoon!)

sunday morning west reading market trip with a delicious sesame loaf from the daily loaf (who doesn't want bread made with l o v e!?) and a fresh cup of jo from adam at bechwarmers. it doesn't get much better!

oohhh and a sneak peek from the glam it up event at bella jules! so many fabulous things to choose from and i just loved all of the pieces i got to show off on behalf of bloom. that navy number is calling my name!
